The Context
ABOUTKOKOMO is a Creative Studio and Production Agency. We are currently undergoing a radical transformation into a self-organized "Living Org." We are killing the hierarchy to make room for the "Spark." We don’t do "Cookie Cutter" work for our clients, and we’re done doing it for ourselves.
We are looking for a creative partner to help us document our journey, our process, and our artifacts.
The Mission
Your job is to translate the Kokomo Standard into a consistent, daring, and high-fidelity social presence. You aren't just "managing" an account; you are producing a digital documentary of a studio in transformation.
Your Three Content Pillars
The Transformation (The Real Stuff): You will take raw voice-overs and macro-footage of our team and founders to create "Confession" style videos. You make internal struggles look and feel like human inspiration.
The Spark (The Process): You will bridge the gap between our Studio (Design) and Production (Making). You’ll show how we use our creativity, tools and high-end craft to turn a messy sketch into a "Drop."
The Release (The Artifacts): You will treat our finished work like a high-octane product launch. No "agency fluff"—just pure, visceral craft.
What You’ll Do
Aesthetic Curation: Maintain a "State of Mind" aesthetic -, intentional, tech-savvy, and premium. Work with our creative team (CD, AD) to nail the vibe.
Content Creation/Video Editing: Turn raw iPhone footage, meeting recordings, and professional production files into rhythmic, high-fidelity Reels, TikToks, and LinkedIn videos.
Narrative Shaping: Work with the Founder to script and edit "Voice-over Journals."
Platform Management: Own the posting and community engagement on Instagram and LinkedIn.
Who You Are
A "High-Fidelity" Editor: You have a signature style. You understand sound design, pacing, and how to use typography so it doesn't look like a template.
Tech-Savvy: You aren't afraid of AI; you use it to speed up your workflow or create visuals that don't exist yet.
The "Anti-Boring" Filter: You can spot a "Cookie Cutter" post from a mile away and you hate it as much as we do.
Self-Organized: Since we are a Living Org, we don’t micromanage. You need to be a pro at managing your own 20 hours and hitting deadlines.
The Requirements
A portfolio that shows Editing & Storytelling (not just static grids).
Experience with Premiere Pro, CapCut (pro-level), or After Effects.
A deep understanding of the LinkedIn vs. Instagram "vibe" shift.
Availability for 20 hours a week with a consistent heartbeat.
